He commiserated with many relatives at the time and a couple of hired professionals. About 1930 he started publishing a series of books on this line. Unforturnately he died before he could get all of his work published. I have several of the original books and copies of more. I believe there are about 8 total, all of which I have in one form or another. At that time his work was highly praised due to the accuracy which he proved by sources. This is why we don't find too many people doing Tilton research, his work is considered the "Bible" on the Tilton's.
